What is the rarest eye color?
I think it’s purple/violet/lavender. Those eye colours are striking.
Green. Brown is popular world wide, and Blue is common in the US and Europe. Then theres like Gray and Purple and Amber, which you dont see to often, but there nto considered to be one of the dominant eye colors.
None in the rare case of albinos. Blue is the second rarest as there is little pigment. Both are recessive genes however blue is dominant over albino. The color comes from light being scattered by the widely dispersed pigments rather than reflection like brown, green, or hazel. The same principle applies to the sky. Blue is the most common color of caucasian babies however as it takes a little time for the actual pigment to grow reflecting the permanent color.
